VINTAGE LARGE CERAMIC PLAYFUL PIG FIGURINE/STATUE-BROWN & WHITE PIGGY

Description

This pig is absolutely adorable.  He is in a playful position...crouching down ready to pounce.  He is a cream color with terra cotta-brownish spots.  The tail is very cute.  He measures 12 1/2" in length, 8" to the top of his tail, and is about 6" to 7" in greatest width.  He weighs 3 1/2 pounds.  The colors are strong and the glaze remains shiny.  There is very minimal crazing associated with age.  He has a chip to an ear.  It has been repaired so the chip is on the back side of his ear, and the shape of his ear is not altered.  Apparently this pig is artisan made as there is a name on the bottom.  He is done very well and with skill.  Very, very cute pig!
