OLD VINTAGE VIOLIN STRADIVARIUS LATE 19TH EARLY 20TH
OLD STRADIVARIUS VIOLIN EARLY 19TH C NOS STRINGS
Nice old stradivarius copy from late 19th early 20th c, has been used, crack on lower f hole small 1" approx. Also a repaired hairline crack where the inner lower block was pinned to the violin, in the center, under the tailpiece, quite common. Has a combo of NOS gut wound strings from the 50s 60s I had in the shop, Gotz, Wurlutzer. Tuners function properly and may be original. May be a repair around neck area at one time, I see a piece of purfling missing near top front near neck, maybe 1". Also a chip on the bottom front near lower nut as in photo. New tailpiece connector Syconi. Two piece tiger maple back. Overall a good playable German violin, with aged wood, sings fine.
