ANTIQUE VIOLIN  4/4 REPAIRED GEO S CONWAY NEWARK OH 1946 UNUSUAL ALUMINUM BRIDGE. ONE PIECE BACK, BEAUTIFUL TIGER NECK. CONWAY WAS A VIOLIN REPAIR PERSON IN NEWARK OHIO IN THE 40S, I HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF VIOLINS HE HAS REPAIRED.  I SEE ONE SMALL HAIRLINE BOTTOM RIGHT ON FRONT, LOOK CLOSE HARD TO SEE. THIS ONE HAS THE ONLY ALUMINUM BRIDGE I HAVE EVER SEEN. I DO HAVE AN ALUMINUM BOW LISTED THAT WAS MADE BY HEDDON, BUT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF AN ALUMINUM BRIDGE. THE TAIL IS PUT ON WITH TWISTED WIRE. MUST HAVE BEEN GOING FOR A CRISP SOUND. CASE COMES WITH IT HAS A BROKEN HANDLE ONE SIDE. TOP OF CASE HAS A CRACK AS SHOWN. MY GUESS ON THIS VIOLIN IS LATE 19TH C EARLY 20TH.
